But people like Sabzevari, Tabatabai and others have paid it. In the meantime, modares Zunuzi has written a comprehensive and precise explanation of disputable point on the issue. Some have criticized this and we have responded to them. In this article, the meanings of the quiddity, existence, imagination meanings, and limitation of the dispute are discussed. Because of his desire to eternity the problem of death is very important for human. Mulla Sadra transcendent philosophy founder, with the approval of previous philosopher’s definition of death, believes that death is the separation of the soul from the physical body and divides it to natural and sudden. This paper explains the nature of death and its variants and causes of death in view of Mulla Sadra and shows some of its Quranic roots. Also, we present criticisms about Mulla Sadra's division of death; some of which include lack of philosophical criterion for the existence of sudden death and there is no boundary between natural death and sudden death.

According to the Emergentism theory, the mind is emerged novelty and unpredictability from the physical body and depends on it, however this new level is irreducible to the brain or any physical system derived from it.One of the important readings of Emergentism is Substance Emergentism, that it is similar to theory of corporeal origination of soul in many physical characteristics .So it seems this theory couldbe formulated and refreshed in the contemporary philosophy of mind and socan be said of sadrai Emergentism theory. In this theory, mind in a stage of evolution of complex biological systems of body, emerges novelty, unpredictable, and dependent on the physical base and, on the other hand, is not reducible to the body. According to unity of mind- body, the problem of mental causation and their relationship takes another face that is unprecedented before Sadra's view.

According to a strong version of the theory of "mental existence", this theory includes three main claims: 1. Perception implies the existence of an idea in the mind of the subject; 2. the reality of the perception is nothing but the mental idea and 3. this mental idea corresponds the external perceived object. In this paper, I shall examine an interpretation of Sadra's view which accepts the first claim while rejecting the second. This interpretation, presented by Javadi Amoli, draws a distinction between the existence of perception and the mental existence of the perceived object. Before this examination, I explore two similar views proposed before Mulla Sadra by Fakhr al-Din Al-Razi and al-Qushchi. Fakhr al-Din Al-Razi, though believing in the mental ideas, thinks that the reality of perception consists in the relation between the mind and the external world. According to Qushchi, the reality of the perception is an immanent entity in the mind which is different from what possesses the mental existence. The final conclusion of this paper is that all these three views encounter serious philosophical challenges.
