Abstract
The relationship between society and culture is one of the key issues of social studies. this relationship in European social sciences is generally defined by duality and contradiction, the roots of which can be traced in the philosophical layers of Western thought. The problem of this research is to examine the ontological relationship between these two areas of social life. The method of this article can be considered as a kind of unbalanced comparative study, therefore, by explaining the relationship between culture and society in European thought, we seek to provide an answer from the intellectual origin of transcendental Theosophy. The relationship between culture and society in European philosophy is generally defined by duality and contradiction, which turns society into an iron cage for culture and turns culture into an ideology of suppressing society. But the transcendental Theosophy of proof "unity" and the negation of "duality" of these two categories. Based on this criterion and the three viewpoints of "originality of existence", " Gradation of existence" and "substantial movement", it can be concluded that culture is an existential matter that is placed in of connected imagination (between nature and reason). The existence of society is also in the order of nature, which reaches culture in one essential movement and unites people in connected imagination and ideal forms. The expansion of existence and the descent of meanings from the realm of reason to the realm of culture constitute the sacred (religious) world. As a result, culture is the superior existence of society to carry the truth. In European philosophy, the existence of culture is often defined in opposition to the existence of society, while in the system of transcendental wisdom, culture grows from within society and gives life and continuity to society as a political, economic and technical body.
