Abstract

Beliefs and affections are two important realm of human personality, and different opinions have been expressed about how these aspects affect each other. Some, like Clifford, believe that beliefs are more fundamental & originality, and some, like James, believe that affections are more fundamental & originality. Mulla Sadra did not address this issue directly, and our goal in this research is to present this question to Mulla Sadra's intellectual system and find the answer to it in transcendental wisdom. We have used an analytical method in this study. In Mulla Sadra's transcendental wisdom, the belief-emotion network is orginal. We concluded that the soul is both the source of perceptions and tendences, and it manages the network of beliefs and the network of affections. Beliefs have a network relationship with each other. Affections also have a network relationship with each other. Beliefs and affections also have a network relationship with each other and affect each other in the container of the soul. This influence is like the communicating vases that are connected to each other, and the combination of beliefs and affections forms the structure of the human soul. Therefore, there are no unimportant beliefs and affections. The network of beliefs and network of affections of each individual make up the level of the human soul, and the soul produces new beliefs and affections based on its existential level.
